    >>Getting That 1st Rebirth<<
    This is a step-by-step guide to leveling in ZeldaMS (with no rebirths). To skip this wall of text, read Getting That First Rebirth Summary below.

    Click >> My Key Configuration << Click

    1. Create a character, do Heena's quest, and kill one snail to reach level 10. Go to FM and job advance to Warrior. Add ALL AP to STR.

    2. In FM, talk to Rock, Paper, Scissors Admin and play rock, paper, scissors until you win and acquire 15 million mesos. If you have 0 mesos, you will not lose any when you lose.

    Talk to Polar Bear Nell and buy the following items (for 1 meso each):
    All-in-One -> Common -> Level 0 Weapons -> Maple 1500 Anniv. Flag. Don't throw it away, as you will need when you rebirth.
    All-in-One -> Common -> Hats -> Zakum Helmet (1) (Last item on the list)
    All-in-One -> Common -> Earrings -> Crystal Leaf Earings (Last item on the list)
    All-in-One -> Common -> Necklaces and Face Accessories -> Straberry Icecream Bar and Horntail Necklace
    All-in-One -> Common -> Capes -> Pink Gaia Cape
    All-in-One -> Common -> Overalls -> Bath Towel (Black) for Males or Yellow Bath Towel/Bathrobe for Women for Females
    All-in-One -> Common -> Gloves -> Brown Work Gloves
    All-in-One -> Common -> Shields -> Maple Shield
    All-in-One -> Common -> Shoes -> Facestompers
    All-in-One -> Common -> Maple Weapons -> Maple Sword (Level 35)
    All-in-One -> Warrior -> One-Handed Swords -> Red Katana (1st one on the list: 93 ATT 5 STR 7 Slots) and Dragon Carabella
    All-in-One -> Thief -> Throwing Stars -> 8 or 12 sets of Crystal Ilbis, recharge them all
    All-in-One -> Pirate -> Bullets and Capsules -> 8 or 12 sets of Eternal Bullet, recharge them all
    All-in-One -> ETC -> Buffs and Potions -> 1000 Power Elixirs, 1000 All-Cure Potions and 200 Naricain's Demon Elixirs *
    All-in-One -> ETC -> Scrolls -> 2000 White Scrolls **, GM Scrolls: *** 9 Gloves for ATT, 100 One-Handed Sword for ATT, 12 Overall Armor for DEX, 7 Shoes for Jump, 3 Dragon Stones (at the very bottom), 10% Scrolls: 200 Helmet for Accuracy, 200 Shield for Weapon ATT, 70% Scrolls: 20 Earring for DEX, 15% Scrolls: 100 Cape for STR.

    Once you are more powerful, you may want to Chaos Scroll your Pink Gaia Cape and Facestompers, maybe even your earrings or Zakum Helmet. Chaos Scrolls are available through the Reward NPC (Maple Golden Leaf Trader).

    Earring for DEX 10%, Overall Armor for STR 10% and Helmet for DEX 10% MAY be coming out soon in shops. In the meantime, you may obtain them (for 1 meso each) from GMs.

    * You can find Naricain's Demon Elixirs in the "N" section of Buffs and Potions, they are listed in Alphabetical order except for the top few potions. Power elixir is on the top, and All-Cures are a little bit below them.

    ** White Scrolls are found between the 70% scrolls and the 40% 4th Anniversary scrolls.

    *** GM Scrolls are found at the lower part of the Scrolls list and are also 1 meso each.

    Congratulations, you are finished with much of your shopping. In the future, all you will need is Timeless Weapons, Medals, Vicious Hammers, and Equips you can acquire from GM Events. Eventually when you get stronger and richer, you can buy chaos scrolls from the reward shop and chaos your cape and shoe to high ATT.

    After you finish buying all those items, scroll the Brown Work Gloves with 7 Gloves for ATT GM Scrolls (Save the other 2 for Vicious Hammer later on). Scroll your Maple 1500 Anniv. Flag with 7 One-Handed Sword for ATT GM Scrolls (Save the rest as well for your other weapons). Train to around 20 at Henesys Hunting Ground I and scroll your Overall with 10 Overall Armor for DEX GM Scroll.

    3. Now: Spinel -> World Tour -> Monstermaps -> Henesys Hunting Ground I
    Train there to level 20.

    4. Now: Spinel -> World Tour -> Monstermaps -> Land of Wild Boar II
    Train there to 35, making sure to change your job to Fighter at level 30. Put Sword Booster on your key configuration, but not rage because you can use Naricain's Demon Elixirs for 140 ATT. Put on your Maple Sword and use 7 One-Handed Sword for ATT GM Scrolls on it.

    5. Now: Spinel -> World Tour -> Monstermaps -> Forest of Golem
    Use a Naricain's Demon Elixir and endure the "MISS"es while trying to stay alive. When you hit 40 or 45, you'll hardly do a miss at all.

    Now that you're 50, you can wear your Zakum Helmet and Facestompers, as well as your (level 40) Crystal Leaf earrings. Put them all on as well as your (level 20) Maple Shield. Scroll the Zakum Helmet to +10 with Helmet for Accuracy + White Scrolls, Facestompers with 5 Shoes for Jump GM Scrolls, Crystal Leaf Earrings to +6 with 70% Earring for DEX + White Scrolls, and Maple Shield to +10 with 10% Shield for Weapon ATT + White Scrolls. Save the scrolls in case you want to hammer your equipment. Scrolling with 10% can be frustrating, but it's worth it.
    The Crystal Leaf Earring may blow up, so you might need to buy another earring and more scrolls.

    6. Now hang around FM until you see one or two Silver Slimes (blueish color, you may have seen or even been killed by these while you were shopping). CC around and kill them until you reach level 70. Job advance and max your skills once again, and put Combo Attack and/or Panic and Coma onto your key configuration. Equip your Red Katana and scroll it with 7 One-Handed sword for ATT GM Scrolls.

    7a. 70-120 will be the "hell levels" for Crusader, even in Private Server. It'll be pretty slow and you'll wonder why you didn't become a Dawn Warrior. The reason is because Dawn Warriors have weaker Brandish and Combo Attack than Heroes.

    7b. An alternate way to do levels 70-120 is to leech from nice people (such as Zuez, David, AE86, or me (i1337)) in FM 6. From 70-100 you'll need to hit the Headless Horsemen in FM 6 to get EXP, but once you hit 95 or 100, you'll level like crazy.

    Job advance to Hero when you reach 120. Place Brandish, Rush and Power Stance on your key configuration since you will be using them a lot.

    8. 120-160 isn't hard, training at FM 6. It'll get really slow and you can go leech in FM 11 once you have enough HP to withstand one hit from Bigfoot (12K Damage, minus 40% from Power Guard). You actually need about 10-11K HP to survive Bigfoot.

    9. 120/150/160-200 for the 1st rebirth, leeching is the fastest. Leech at FM 11 will get you to 200 really fast. Find people such as Zuez, David, AE86 or me (i1337) to leech you.

    Once you hit 200, refer to Rebirths and Must-Have Skills List to see what skills you should save when you rebirth.

    >>Getting That First Rebirth Summary<<
    If you didn't want to read the wall of text above, just read this. These steps are numbered the same as the steps above, so refer back to the steps above for details.

    1. Create a character, level to 10 on the map that you spawn at. Be a Warrior -> Fighter -> Crusader -> Hero

    2. Go to FM, buy equips, potions, and scrolls.

    3. 10-20 Train at Henesys Hunting Ground I

    4. 20-35 Train at Land of the Wild Boar II

    5. 35-50 Train at Forest of Golem (If you have 50 DEX 30 Accuracy Robe and Maple Sword)

    6. 50-70 Kill 2 Silver Slimes in FM (might need to kill one or two mushmoms in FM 4)

    7a. 70-120 train at Encounter with the Buddha or PG leech in FM 18

    7b. 70-120 leech in FM 18

    8. 120-160/200 Train in FM 18

    9. 120/150/160-200 Leech at Bigfoots

    Once you hit 200, refer to Rebirths and Must-Have Skills List to see what skills you should save when you rebirth.

    >>Rebirths and Must-Have Skills List<<

    0th Rebirth: Hero
    Sword Booster - Keep this all the time.
    Brandish - Your main sword/axe attack.
    Rush - Goes with Brandish.
    Power Stance - Keeps you in place when you get hit, extremely useful.
    Combo Attack - Way more damage.
    Maple Warrior - +15% to all your stats, freaking awesome.
    Power Guard - Reflects 40% of the damage received.

    1st Rebirth: Paladin
    Holy Charge - Increased damage on Anegos.
    Flame Charge - Increased damage on Bigfoots.
    Ice Charge - Increased damage on ???
    Thunder Charge - Increased damage on Pink Bean.
    (Optional) Charged Blow
    (Optional) Blast
    (Optional) Heaven's Hammer

    2nd Rebirth: Bishop
    Teleport - Essential for mobility because Flash Jump will get you jailed.
    Holy Symbol - 150% EXP, faster leveling, more rebirths.
    Magic Guard - Keeps you alive.

    3rd Rebirth: Night Lord
    Meso Up - Faster meso farming.
    Shadow Partner - You need both Shadow Partners (Adv and KoC) for ranged attacks.

    4th Rebirth: Buccaneer
    Speed Infusion - Combines with booster for faster attacking speed.
    (Optional) Super Transformation

    5th Rebirth: Bowmaster
    Sharp Eyes - Adds Critical, very useful. Thanks to Kaci for reminding me.

    6th Rebirth: Shadower
    Meso Guard - Description says "uses Mesos to protect 50% of the damage received", but in truth, no mesos disappear and you take 50% less damage.

    7th Rebirth: Corsair
    Aerial Strike - This skill will help alot when you become super strong.

    8th Rebirth: Night Walker
    Shadow Partner - You'll need this SP as well as the Night Lord SP.

    9th Rebirth: Dragon Knight (Optional)
    Dragon Roar
    [Weapon] Crusher
    Dragon Fury: [Weapon]
    [Weapon] Booster
    Rush (for Pole Arms and Spears)

    10th - XXX Rebirth: Beginner or any class you want to.

    Please note that the sword will be your main weapon from now on, because it can be charged with an element, which brings a significant difference.

    Holy is strong against Anego.
    Fire is strong against Bigfoot.
    Lightning/Thunder is strong against Pink Bean.

    You will train on Bigfoot mostly after you 5th Rebirth, and after your 20th, Anego. Therefore, these sword charges are extremely useful.

    >>Final Weapon and Equipment<<

    >>Final Weapon<<

    The BEST weapon you can get is:
    1. Lunch Box (Level 120), scrolled +9 with GM Scrolls One-handed Sword for ATT (Vicious Hammers).
    And
    2. Maple Shield scrolled +12 with 10% Shield for ATT (and White Scrolls) (Vicious Hammers).

    Why?
    Let's look at price first.

    Lunch Box (Level 120) is a 1-Handed Sword I bought from Sora (on the 2nd day of me joining ZeldaMS) for 20 Maple Golden Leafs (2 Billion Mesos).
    Hammers for the Lunch Box is achievable with 100M (50M each).

    Maple Shield is a common shield (Level 20) with 10 slots unlike the average 7. Buyable in All-In-One for 1 meso. Scrolls for Shield for Weapon Attack 10% are buyable for 1 meso each as well. White scrolls are 1 meso each too. Vicious Hammers for 2 extra slots is 100M.

    Added together:
    Lunch Box (120): 2 Billion Mesos
    GM Scrolls for 1H Sword for ATT: 9 Mesos
    Vicious Hammers (x4): 200 Million Mesos
    Maple Shield: 1 Meso
    Shield for Weapon Attack Scrolls: 120 Mesos (at 10% success rate, this is assumed amount of scrolls you will need)
    White Scrolls: 120 Mesos

    Lunch Box + Maple Shield is: 2,200,000,250 Mesos.

    The second weapon of choice is the Maroon Mop, buyable from Reward Shop for 25 Maple Golden Leafs (2.5 Billion Mesos). Including Vicious Hammers and Scrolls.

    Maroon Mop is: 2,600,000,009 Mesos.

    Let's look at their stats.

    Maroon Mop (Level 36) <--- Level Advantage over Lunch Box
    Weapon Attack: 220 + 45 = 265 <--- Significantly higher than Lunch Box + Shield
    Speed: Slow (8}
    Jobs: Beginner Only

    Lunch Box (Level 120)
    Weapon Attack: 109 + 45 = 154
    Speed: Fast (4) <--- Significant speed advantage over Mop
    Jobs: All Classes <--- Not just Beginner or other class

    Maple Shield (Level 20)
    Weapon Attack: 0 + 36 = 36

    Lunch Box + Maple Shield (154 + 36) = 190 Weapon Attack. However, Flame Charge gives a significant boost that doubles damage on Bigfoots. Holy Charge gives a significant boost that doubles damage on Anegos. Thunder Charge gives a significant boost that deals 150% or doubles damage on Pink Bean.

    With the significant speed advantage, Lunch Box Pwns Maroon Mop by a landslide.
